Chicago Millennium Park Road Trip on $20 a dayThis is part of an 18 week, 7,532 mile, Vanabode road trip detailed in the
book from Amazon Over the course of the week we enjoy many exciting venues, nearly all
are free or super cheap like the all encompassing Millennium Park for
seemingly endless entertainment both indoor and out. Of all the activities we partake in, I recommend the ultra clean and well laid out Lincoln Park Zoo and Conservatory, Money Museum (housed inside the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago), Garfield Park Conservatory, Jane Hull House Museum, Crown Fountain and Park (see below), Chrome Bean in Millennium Park (most incredible piece of sculpture I have ever seen), Millennium Park (Shown above, daily and nightly mostly free outdoor entertainment venue), Magnificent Mile of Shopping, National Museum of Mexican Art, Chicago Cultural Center, and Navy Pier (hosts fireworks twice a week in the dark skies over Lake Michigan). Above: Kids wade and splash around in this ever changing digital fountain and water feature. When you Vanabode big cities like Chicago, Boston, Washington DC and New York City are hard to beat for the sheer variety of interesting affordable things to do. For thousands of unforgettable experiences on this affordable
