This page from my master list of all Las Vegas articles I wrote while developing Vanabode as the best travel vehicle for cheap easy long term road trips.

Adventuredome Circus Circus Las Vegas

Adventuredome Circus Circus in Las Vegas sits under a five-and-a-half acre pink glass dome. But this is no girly girly theme park. This place is full of action, laughs, and thrills and is definitely a place for all ages. Trust me, I think I have more fun playing laser tag than any 12 year old boy (article by Ben Odom).

This is one of the strongest all day indoor theme parks in the world. It is five-and-a-half acres of fun enclosed under a gigantic pink glass dome right on the strip. If you have kids take them here one day and they will never forget it. Adventuredome just added the completely original Disk'O ride where you are strapped ONTO a motorcycle like seat facing out while spinning at high speed and simultaneously rolling along a track up and down. This baby spins at 23 miles an hour along a 100 foot track shaped lke a giant smiley face.

The other newest attraction is the 4D special FX theatre. It's an interactive theatre and during the show you will get poked, shaken, bubbled, sprayed. This is one of the parts of the dome that nearly everyone likes from youngest to the oldest members of the family.

The fastest ride inside the Dome is the Sling Shot. This powerful punch ride is where you can experience 4 Gs shooting towards the pink ceiling and 1 G going back down to the ground. Below: Circus Circus awesome entrance at night picture.

Old faithful rides include the Canyon Blaster, a 90 foot high speed roller coaster where you can see the entire dome layout if you are brave enough. This is the only double-loop, double-corkscrew track in the United States. Let that pizza, soda pop, and cotton candy digest a little before getting in line.

Two other rides at the Circus Circus Adventuredome will surprise you with multiple twists and turns. The Inverter takes you 50 feet off the ground as it flips a full 360 degrees. Chaos spins you upside-down, backward and counterclockwise.

The fastest Circus Circus Adventuredome ride is the Sling Shot. This powerful punch ride gives you 4 Gs shooting towards the pink ceiling and 1 G dropping back down to the ground. Nice thing is if you get an all day pass you can ride again and again for hours.

The Inverter takes you 50 feet off the ground and flips you 360 degrees. Chaos spins everyone upside-down, backward and counterclockwise, twisting and careening to heart stopping action for the bigger kids I suppose.

If all those upside-down, backward, counterclockwise, 360 rides are a little too extreme then maybe the Rim Runner is more your speed. It's a little ride where you sit in a log floating through the water and then plung only 60 feet getting thoroughly drenched.

And if you are one for terra firma then maybe the laser tag, miniature golf course, bumper cars, arcade, and midway booths will thrill you under the famous pink Adventuredome.

Getting into the Adventuredome is free. You only have to pay if you want to experience any of the action, either in the air or on the ground. You can pay per ride or get an all-day pass. There is a discount for Nevada residents on the all-day passes. You can make reservations for birthday and private parties too which can make for a totally awesome party experience. Call Circus Circus Adventuredome for hours and pricing. There are restrictions on age, height and weight which vary by the ride. And, for the under age, under height, and under weight there is a special children's section at the Adventuredome Circus Circus Las Vegas.
