This page from my master list of all Las Vegas articles I wrote while developing Vanabode as the best travel vehicle for cheap easy long term road trips. Boca Park Las VegasBoca Park Las Vegas is an outdoor shopping center covering 289,000 square feet of retailers. Boca Park Fashion Village is on the west end of Las Vegas in the master-planned community of Summerlin. The streets and winding sidewalks are beautifully lined with trees and shrubs giving off an atmosphere of sophistication. There are also three golf courses very, very close to Boca Park Fashion Village as well. They are Angel Park Legacy, TPC Canyons, and Badlands Golf Courses. If you want to see some big name brand stores, inside a super fancy mall, walking among people and people watching then I don't recommend Boca Park. For that experience I recommend Forum Shops at Caesars Palace or even The Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian Hotel and Casino. You see, Boca Park Fashion Village was mainly built for the locals, and believe me they take full advantage of every shop and restaurant around here. The locals love this place. But, if you are not staying at any of the casinos on this end of town then it probably isn't worth the time to drive to Boca Park. Well, unless you are in dire need of a bookstore then you probably will be driving to Boca Park. Boca Park is actually a wide mix of freestanding retailers including unique boutiques, salons, art galleries, brand-name stores, and restaurants. Some of the stores include The Great Indoors, Linen N' Things, The Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, Mimi's Café, Claim Jumper, Barnes & Noble, Pier 1, Sport Chalet, Jason's Deli, The Melting Pot, Whole Foods, Ross, Williams Sonoma, Tallulah G, and Pink. You can pretty much walk from store to store but you will have to cross busy Charleston Blvd. and Fort Apache/Rampart Blvd. a couple of times to see every store in the Boca Park Fashion Village. You see, the above named stores and restaurants and a whole lot more sit on three out of the four corners of Charleston Blvd. and Fort Apache/Rampart Blvd. There is no problem trying to find parking though and it is all free. There is a parking garage right next to The Great Indoors but other than that it is all open parking. If you are curious about the distance from casinos, the Suncoast Hotel and Casino is the only one within walking distance. Rampart Hotel and Casino is just another mile north of the shops. Red Rock Resort and Casino is about two miles west and as the crow flies, the Las Vegas Strip is approximately eight mile east of Boca Park Las Vegas.
