KA show Las Vegas

KA show Las Vegas is one of the best Cirque du Soleil shows on The Strip in Sin City. As soon as you walk up to the theatre there are characters in make up and costumes greeting you or else scarring you with their serious looks. Like the other Cirque shows there is entertainment of some sorts going on before the actual show starts, so don't be late. When you are sitting in your seat, mouth opened, looking around wide eyed and in awe at the labyrinth of levels, towers, and platforms highlighting each with the perfect gold-colored lights, you know you are going to experience a show like never before. And, you won't be disappointed. I have seen KA at the MGM in Las Vegas twice and I would gladly see it again without hesitation.

The KA story is about twins, brother and sister, on a perilous journey to fulfill their destiny. They have a lot to experience about the world outside the imperial court. They confront events and characters along the way that represent good and evil. Danger waits for them at every turn as the plot unfolds. But before their world collapses they receive guidance and protection. This show is a little hard to follow. But if you get lost on the story of the twins then you can be happily content watching the acrobatics, pyrotechnics and martial arts all over the stage, within the theatre, and from the ceiling.

Compared to "O", another Cirque du Soleil show which is at Bellagio in Las Vegas, KA is my favorite, hands down. I was entertained with "O" but not as impressed as with the KA show. However, I am impressed with all the technical work behind the scenes, don't get me wrong. Working with water is difficult. But the entire theatre and the rotating stage is just more memorable to me. Of all the Cirque shows in Las Vegas only one is not family friendly, and that show would be Zumanity at New York New York. For some it wouldn't be adult friendly either. It is a very seductive show performed with some fantastic dancing and acrobatics but the props and jokes are in your face blatant and a little rude. Zumanity definitely is not for the faint-hearted. Of course, you should always do research on shows before purchasing tickets.

The KA stage is one of a kind. If for nothing else, go to KA to see the colossal stage go from the horizontal position to the vertical and all positions in between. While the stage is transforming from a floor to a wall the characters are running up it and across it, sliding, climbing, hanging, swinging, and fighting. This performance will not bore you, I promise. One of the best aspects of a Cirque du Soleil show are all the levels of performances going on simultaneously.

The shows are packed with entertainment continuously. This is one of the reasons that you can see the KA show in Las Vegas more than once. Insider Secret - During Las Vegas' off season the tickets may be reduced.

For some of the best seats I suggest the lower level from the middle up. If you get a seat towards the very front you can see the faces of the characters but you will be looking up and not in front of you. I have been seated on the side in the fifth row before and on the second level in the middle. And, I have to admit that the lower level fifth row was better because I could see the characters closer. However, the thing I didn't like was that some of the performances were all the way across to the other side of the stage and so viewing and understanding some of the story line was difficult. Now, when I sat in the upper level in the middle it was nice to look over the entire theatre and stage.

Even though the performers faces were not as clear I could see all sorts of activities happening on the towers of the theatre and I could see the entire story being told. Seeing a show in Las Vegas is a must however top seating for particular shows may not be so attainable. Don't worry. Ask the ticket agent what they think is the best seat for the category you can afford. Please, I beg you, don't decide to not go to a show because you can't afford the higher priced tickets. You have got to go for the experience. You will still get the full tilt experience of a KA show no matter what seat you have and your memories of Las Vegas will be the better for it - KA show Las Vegas.
