Paris Hotel Las Vegas Review

Paris Hotel Las Vegas review - it's not as large as other casinos on the Strip like the MGM Grand or the Venetian so you won't tire yourself out walking through the hotel. Spaces are on a more intimate and manageable scale. For additional casino gaming, restaurants and shopping, Bally's is joined to the Paris via a large hallway. Remember - if you win over $1,200 at the Paris (and most other casinos in town), the casino is entitled to keep up to 30% of your winnings even if you are from another country. If you win big, they'll check your ID, so make sure you have it on you.

Luckily for hotel guests, the pool is conveniently open all year around at the Paris. It's on the rooftop. You might even see celebrities sunbathing in the lounge chair next to yours, like Tony Danza who's starring in the current production of The Producers at the Paris. The pool at the neighboring Bally's is seasonal so guests in that hotel have to walk over to the Paris pool. Even the spectacular beach-pool at the Mandalay Bay is seasonal. Be sure to ask about hours of service in the month you are visiting the Paris.

Paris Hotel Las Vegas review - when you want to know where to eat at the Paris. The French know food and the food there is good. I would say it's on par with the Bellagio. The breakfast buffet has fresh made-to-order crepes in a French village setting. It consistently gets rated 'Best of Las Vegas' by the Las Vegas Review Journal. JJ's Boulangerie is perfect if you're on the go and need a quick sandwich and salad that's not expensive. Your mouth will water when you see the incredible selection of pastries and chocolates at Le Notre.

Mon Ami Gabi is always packed because it's so good and has that French café ambiance. Ask to sit outside on the terrace in the warmer months and people-watch or experience the Bellagio fountains while you dine. Almost better than being in Paris, France! Another elegant French restaurant is the Daniel Boulud in the Wynn Hotel.

For sinfully different cuisine, Ah Sin offers Asian flavors and menus that are delicate and distinctive.

If you're walking to Bally's you might not make it when you see Le Burger Brasserie in the promenade that connects the two casinos. Sit at the bar, watch the sports games on large screen TVs and order from 15 types of beers. Best of all, order one of their original burgers and fries. You get large portions and can choose from beef, lamb, chicken, salmon or veggie burgers. If you really want to spurge, they'll be happy to make the lucky $777 Maine lobster and Kobe beef burger for you.

Paris Hotel Las Vegas also has the latest information on casino gaming. Since the hotel is not huge like Caesar's Palace, you can easily find slot machines to play or find a seat at the poker tables. Dealers are very friendly and drink service is fairly fast.

Paris is Vegas on France. A true masterpiece of architecture, class and shear in your face beauty. You must see this place even if you don't stay here when in Vegas. I promise you will not be disappointed as millions can attest since she opened here on the strip back in 1999.

Paris features authentic reproductions of famous Parisian landmarks: 50-story replica of the Eiffel Tower looming over the Las Vegas strip, Arc de Triomphe, the Paris Opera House and even the Louvre. The 34-story hotel has over 3,000 rooms including 290 suites. It takes styling cues from the famous Hotel de Ville with cobblestone side walks and a 40 foot rounded ceiling looks like the sky outside, and the Eiffel Tower punches right through to the gaming floor.

The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas stands at 50-stories high complete with fine dining and observation deck. My wife took me to the top of the Eiffel Tower where I had one of the most spectacular birthday dinners ever. We were able to see the nearly the entire strip plus the Bellagio fountains erupting across the street. She spent nearly $200 with tip so this restaurant is not for those short on cash. The meal was fantastic French style cooking at its best and the service was top notch. You can also get amazing views of the Strip from the balconies at Risqué.

My wife and I had the best winning streak I have ever experienced here at Paris on a blackjack table for 90 minutes straight, we won nearly 4 out of 5 hands, turning $400 into over $4,000. The casino floor is very clean spacious and feels smoke free with the high well ventilated ceilings. I highly recommend staying here if you don't gamble a lot but want to take in the pure sweet experience of such a fine resort.

You'll be impressed with the check-in area. It's beautifully decorated like a Parisian ballroom in the style of Louis XIV. It's quite luxurious in champagne colors with period paintings on the wall behind the registration desk.

Staff is courteous and helpful for the most part. The ticket counter is conveniently located across from the check-in desk. Be sure to ask about half priced tickets on shows if you are a hotel guest.

When making your Paris Hotel Las Vegas reservation, also request a renovated room on the upper floors for a view of the Strip and a more modern experience.

The Calais Suites come with a guaranteed view of the Strip. Rooms are modeled on a simple country French style and suites have an elegant European décor without going over the top.

They are clean, quiet and chic.

Bathrooms have marble counter tops and are very clean with separate bath and shower. They are stocked with shampoos and soaps made by Gilchrist and Soames and the towels are fluffy.

Of course we have only stayed in the rooms here a few times over the years due to our overall traveling budget of $20 a day for nearly everything, but when we have it's been a decadent enjoyable experience.
